Article: Religious Deception

Dear Politicized Church

In light of Scripture…

Do you support drilling and fracking? The bible says in Revelation 11:18, “The time has come…for destroying those who destroy the earth.” In light of Scripture, what does “destroy the earth” mean to you?

Do you support denying healthcare for all? The bible says in Luke 5:31, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.” In light of Scripture, what does “the sick” mean to you?

Do you support deportation and building the wall? The bible says in Leviticus 19:33-34, “When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born.” In light of Scripture, what does “must be treated as one of your native-born” mean to you?

Do you support life from conception to the grave? The bible says in 1John 3:15, “Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer.” In light of Scripture, what does “hates his brother” mean to you?

Do you support America first? The bible says in Mark 9:35, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all.” In light of Scripture, what does “he must be the very last and servant of all” mean to you?

Do you support making America great again? The bible says in Revelation 18:2-3, “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great! She has become a home for demons and a haunt for every evil spirit, a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird. For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.” In light of Scripture, what does “Babylon the Great” mean to you?

Do you support conspiracy theories? The bible says in Isaiah 8:11-12, “The LORD spoke to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people. He said: do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it.” In light of Scripture, what does “conspiracy” mean to you?

Do you support the land of Israel? The bible says in Genesis 32:28, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel” and in Genesis 35:22, “Jacob (Israel) had twelve sons”. Israel is land in the middle east, but Israel is also a people, the descendants of Jacob. In light of Scripture, what does “Israel” mean to you?

Do you support the prosperity gospel and the doctrines that stem from it? The bible says in Isaiah 3:14, “The LORD enters judgment against the elders and leaders of his people: It is you who have ruined my vineyard; the plunder from the poor is in your houses.” In light of Scripture, what does “plunder from the poor” mean to you?

Do you support enforcing certain religious laws and traditions when they line up with your beliefs? The bible says in Revelation 6:2, “I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.” Note: This is not Jesus (Yeshua), for He has a sword and not a bow (Rev. 19:15). Could this rider on a white horse be religious deception? 2Timothy 3:13 …while evil men and imposters will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. In light of Scripture, what does “a white horse…bent on conquest” mean to you.

In love, I appeal to you…

There is a religious deception, which looks like Christ and has some of the same characteristics of Christ, but is not Christ, that is helping to set the stage for the anti-christ. What does anti-christ mean? Simply put, anything that sets itself up against Christ. A deception that dares to worship God in the way of other gods. Deuteronomy 12:30-31 “…be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying, How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same. You must not worship the LORD your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the LORD hates.”

They go around declaring and decreeing all in the Name, yet they are evildoers. Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers.” Matthew 24:4, “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, I am the Christ, and will deceive many.”

This deception thinks that it has the power and authority to change the Most High’s set times and laws such as changing the Sabbath day to Sunday, teaching that the Law is done away with, and celebrating pagan holidays such as Christmas, Easter, and even, God forbid, Halloween. Would Jesus (Yeshua) have done such things? Such things that clearly go against the Word of God? Absolutely not! This look-alike religion is being led by wolves in sheep’s clothing. Matthew 7:15-16, “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them.”

A fundamental problem lies within this religious deception. It has lost, or never knew it to begin with, the biblical definition of sin. According to the Bible, sin is lawlessness (1John 3:4). Sin is defined as the transgression of the Law. They teach and preach that the Law, God’s Instructions to His people, has been nailed to the cross. In essence, saying the Law no longer exists. So because the Law no longer exists or is no longer applicable to us today, in an effort to stop sin, they are forced to make up their own man-made laws. They exchanged the Commandments of the Almighty for the commandments of men. Unfortunately, they think that obedience to these man-made laws will stop sin and produce righteousness. But no amount of obedience to man-made laws or tradition will stop sin. Sin will only find another way to express itself.

To define sin, we must not use abstract thinking, but we must use that which is concrete, the Commandments themselves. And with this concrete definition of sin, comes repentance, obedience, and love for one another. John 15:9-12 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

If the Church is really who they say they are and if they really want others to repent and turn to God, then the Church must repent and turn to God. It must repent of greed and love of money, of supposing that gain is Godliness, of pushing political agendas, and advancing its own kingdom. It must loose the chains of injustice and set the oppressed free. It must share its food with the hungry, provide the poor with shelter, and clothe the naked. It must do away with the pointing finger and malicious talk. It must spend itself on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed. It must keep its feet from breaking the Sabbath and from going its own way (Isaiah 58:6-14). It must stand up against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive aliens of justice (Malachi 3:5).

If we say we love God, then we must love God’s Law (Torah) and we must show our love for Him and our love for others through obedience to His Commandments. 1John 2:3-6 “We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, I know him, but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him. Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus (Yeshua) did.”

How do we walk as Jesus (Yeshua) did? We should start with the Ten Commandments.

Matthew 5:17-18 KJV

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

The Ten Commandments

Exodus 20:3-17 (Deuteronomy 5:7-21)

1. Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods (mighty ones) before me.

Spoken by Yeshua: Matthew 4:10 …for it is written, Thou shalt worship the LORD (Yahweh) thy God (Elohim), and him only shalt thou serve.

2. Exodus 20:4-6 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD (Yahweh) thy God (Elohim) am a jealous God (El), visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Spoken by Yeshua: Matthew 24:4-5 …Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ (Messiah); and shall deceive many.

3. Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD (Yahweh) thy God (Elohim) in vain; for the LORD (Yahweh) will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Spoken by Yeshua: Matthew 5:34-37 …Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s (Yah’s) throne: 35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 but let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

4. Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD (Yahweh) thy God (Elohim): in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD (Yahweh) made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD (Yahweh) blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Spoken by Yeshua: Mark 2:27-28 …The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: 28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord (Master) also of the Sabbath.

5. Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD (Yahweh) thy God (Elohim) giveth thee.

Spoken by Yeshua: Matthew 15:3-6 …Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God (Elohim) by your tradition? 4 For God (Elohim) commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. 5 But ye say, whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightiest be profited by me; 6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God (Elohim) of none effect by your tradition.

6. Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

Spoken by Yeshua: Matthew 5:21-22 …Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

7. Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Spoken by Yeshua: Matthew 5:27-28 …Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

8. Exodus 20:15 Thou shalt not steal.

Spoken by Yeshua: Luke 16:10-12 …He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. 11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?

9. Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Spoken by Yeshua: Matthew 12:36-37 …That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

10. Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s

Spoken by Yeshua: Luke 12:15 …Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Psalm 119:97 Oh, how I love your Law/Torah!
