Before sin, having been made perfect in the image of Elohim, their hearts were clean (pure). Thus, their thoughts towards one another, which came from a clean heart, from within, were also clean (pure). Create in me a clean heart, O Elohim; and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps 51:10)
After sin, still having been made perfect in the image of Elohim but now marred by sin, their hearts became unclean (impure). And this is when the relationship between a man and a woman changed forever. The once clean (pure) thoughts they had towards one another would be permanently tainted by sin. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. (Mk 7:21-23)
This is exactly where men were in the time of Yeshua, and this is where we find ourselves today. We live in a time after sin entered into the world (Ro 5:12). A time that prevents us from ever being able to fully understand the one flesh, whether physical or not, that Adam and the woman must have had before sin.
Think about this for a moment. If sin had such devastatingly divisive consequences on the relationship between man(kind) and YHWH Elohim that He sent His Son to die for our sins (1Co 15:3), what similarly divisive consequences would sin have had on the relationship between the man and the woman? We can only try to get a sense of the overwhelming sadness and immeasurable regret they would have felt due to sin. We can try, but there is no tangible way for us to experience the level of heartbreak not only between the man and the woman, but also between man(kind) and Elohim.

Does God hate divorce? Mainstream religion will say yes, but what does the Bible say? Should the Church (both Christian and Catholic) teach that God hates divorce? Should they forbid remarriage? Do such teachings come from the Bible? Or do they come from verses in the Bible that have been taken out of context?
